Established in 1962, Moreton Hall occupies a distinctive position amongst leading East Anglian Preparatory schools. It has expanded and developed over the years to include day pupils, and children of all denominations, whilst retaining its traditional Catholic ethos. We place particular emphasis on paying close attention to the individual needs and abilities of our pupils. At the same time we set high standards throughout our academic, arts and sporting programmes.

Today Moreton Hall incorporates prep, pre-prep and nursery departments. It has always been the school's aim to help children develop their potential in a happy structured environment.

The main building was designed in 1773 by Robert Adam and retains many original features. It has the added advantage of standing in its own parkland of 30 acres, including spacious playing fields. There is also a chapel, which is a splendid example of the architect's work, where all pupils take part in morning assemblies and a weekly Mass.

Moreton Hall is a Roman Catholic school warmly welcoming children of other denominations. All children and staff are invited to celebrate Mass weekly, with the local parish priests. Morning assemblies and night prayers for the boarders also help to underline the everyday nature of our Christian ethos.
