Benedict Dunhill came to Moreton Hall in September 2004 from Worth School, in Sussex, where he had been a housemaster. Educated at Caldicott and Cranleigh, he studied French at University College London. He is married to Elizabeth and has three young children, all pupils at Moreton Hall.

'I am thrilled and excited to be coming to such a perfectly formed school in such beautiful surroundings. The atmosphere and ethos of a very special caring school community were instantly apparent, and I am committed to preserving and developing this.

I believe all the children feel valued and supported in a school that proudly boasts a genuine family atmosphere. As in a family, all individuals have a contribution to make, and willingly and enthusiastically commit themselves to a full range of sports, drama productions and musical events.

As a result, the pupils are confident without being precocious, and sensible without lacking spontaneity or good humour. Most of all, however, the children at Moreton Hall are permitted to enjoy their childhood with an innocence that lets them develop into confident young people.

I hope that you will visit us not just to see our beautiful school and its wonderful facilities, but to meet some of the staff and pupils who will give you a true sense of the school.'
